I know it’s sad but many of us feel naked without our handheld smart devices. And when the battery is nearly drained, we plug it in and sit by the phone watching the bars go up again. What if you could be freed from the charging cable? And no, I’m not talking about the wireless charging options that let you place your device on a surface to be charged.
There’s potentially something better out there. The Wi-Charge will turn an entire room into a wireless charging station so you can freely move around while still charging your device. Pretty cool, right? With this, the charger is situated on the ceiling of a room and charges multiple devices at the same time. Wi-Charge has apparently created a line to suit many of the common mobile devices we see on the market today.
The Wi-Charge Light is ideal for mobile devices. The Wi-Charge Kiik is good for iPads, webcams, and wireless speakers. And the Wi-Charge Rayo is built for smart buildings. A transmitter is able to cover a room that’s as large as up to 250 square feet. The products are currently in Beta and not available on the market. But the company is offering the Beta program to companies looking to add wireless power functionality to their line of products. For more details, head over to Wi-Charge.
