Stunning Time-lapse Film Captured with Drone over Greek Island

Drones are common sights across skies all over the world, and many people use drones to record or photograph scenery for personal use. Many drones are extremely sophisticated with state-of-the-art cameras, and so breath-taking shots can be captured using the technology. Pilots can position their drones at several different heights and angles, giving them a lot of flexibility in their pursuit of beautiful imagery.

Most people who own drones own ones with cameras that are able to take photographs as well as video. Even if a drone doesn’t have a camera built into it, it likely come with a mount that allows the owner to use a GoPro or other camera on their drone. Depending on the model and brand of the drone, pilots’ actual recording time and quality varies a lot.
Visual Suspect, a Hong Kong boutique video production company, recently produced a video that was filmed entirely using a drone. They used a drone to fly around Folegandros, a Greek island known for it’s gorgeous scenery. Visual Suspect’s Film, Low Earth Orbit, shows the audiences views that only predatory birds would have, as the drone circles around the same area of Folengandros.
The film showcases how the colours of the scenery change over time. The drone captured footage in both manual as wall as automatic flights, and the footage allows viewers to have a perspective that only birds are able to see. Because the footage was captured aerially, high above the ground, it is an interesting film that many people are likely to appreciate.
