It is not based exactly on Salvador Dalí’s theory of “softness” and “hardness”, which was central to his thinking at the time, but this inexpensive timepiece creates a surreal optical illusion with its cool, chrome clock.
The fluidity of time is manifest in its design as it appears to be melting and transforming right off the edge where you place it for display. This is a real timepiece which accurately displays time and at the same time giving the observer an impression that time is fluid.
