Cold-Brew coffee is the best thing you can do with your eight hours of sleep tonight

Cold brew is an absolute delight on a hot summer day. It can also be a colossal pain in the proverbial keister to make. Filtering out the grounds that have been swimming in the same 24 oz of water for over 8 hours is a bit of a chore when it comes to ensuring that you have the best quality caffeine to enjoy upon waking. In the middle of summer, you’re not going to want to enjoy a 32 oz. cup of steaming hot coffee. At least, I know that I don’t want to have a supremely hot (like 185 degree?) drink to start off my day. Why would you?

Cold brew coffee is a solid option for those who know that they love their caffeine and who on earth am I to judge? This is where the Bod Brew comes in. I filled the steel filter with locally roasted coffee grounds and then the decanter with filtered cold water and set the one click timer to live in the fridge while I went to thoroughly inspect the back of my eyelids post self-care routine. A routine which by the way is mostly just washing the days grime away and brushing the beer film off of my teeth. I love me a coffee stout and all but eventually you just have to prioritize taking care of your health, right?

The 24 oz. of concentrated coffee I get the next morning is fantastic. I can dissolve it into almond milk and drop in some bobas for an impeccable drink matched only by chinatown shops or I can just dilute it and sip on some gently spiced and sweetened coffee.

No matter which way I go I get to enjoy my cold brewed coffee without a complicated setup, teardown, or any real hassle.
