I remember the first TV commercial that I listened to and it has ever since been with me, “The best part of waking up is Folgers in your cup”. There is nothing like the smell of fresh coffee in the morning.
Here is a whole new concept of waking up to that refreshing smell of coffee. It is not one of those programmable coffee makers that you keep on the kitchen counter. The Barisieur is an alarm clock and coffee maker right at your bedside table. The alarm sound is produced by the gentle rumbling of stainless steel ball bearings that boil water using induction heating.
When induction element switches on the ball bearings heat up and boil water. The steam thus generated forces boiling water in a bottom chamber to a tube that transports it to the filter which trickles (percolates) through the ground coffee and is collected into the cup.
Just remember to prepare the machine the night before, filling it with all the water and ground coffee. The alarm clock/coffee maker also comes with compartments for milk, sugar and extra coffee.
Though the Barisieur is not in the market yet but the projected retail price is £150-250.
