That is why more and more companies offer this method as a way to spice up their market. Delivery by drone immediately catches someone’s eye, and may even lead to more sales from curious buyers.
Even more serious than package delivery, drones also get use from emergency services. Police are starting to use drones for scouting purposes. These flying machines can get vision into the field to see if any danger is present. Firefighters also began using drones for its far reaching sight. Higher floors that ladders cannot reach need vision to check for possible casualties. That’s where drones come in.

Ambulance On The Skies:
In Pasadena, California leading researchers in the medical field are exploring a drone concept. Specifically, emergency medicine. To use the drones at their most effective, these researchers want an ambulance drone. A transport that can go from the field to the hospital autonomously will decrease manpower needs. This means more medical personnel staying in the field instead of going back to the hospital.
The concept is basically a taxi drone, but for hospitals. And just like the taxi drones, these ambulance drones are a few years from being reality. But the idea is a good one. A drone can go to the field, get a patient, and safely transport them to the hospital. This removes the drivers and EMTs in the vehicle, leaving more hands on the field. A flying transport would also battle less traffic on the air, compared to the busy streets of cities. This transport drone is especially useful for patients with conditions that require quick transport and treatment.
The ambulance drone aims to become a reality within 3 to 5 years. But only time will tell.
