In a previous article we discussed about the Aerones drone that can clean turbines in the hardest weather conditions. It can clean with efficiency and accuracy that it makes human labor obsolete. Equipped with a powerful hose and a line connected at the ground with its water source, it can continuously do its job. The turbines and navigation can resist harsh winds and extreme temperatures. It can fly to great heights and still hover sufficiently that it still does not miss a spot when cleaning. It is truly a drone built for the job.
But now, another job may also fall on the Aerones’ drone’s lap.
Firefighter Drone:
With a few modifications to the design, Aerones created another UAV called the Firefighter Drone. It is like its cousin that cleans wind turbines at high places using powerful water jets. The Firefighter Drone has an impressive initial reach. It is able to elevate nearly a thousand feet into the air within six minutes. For metropolitan areas where buildings can reach tens and hundreds of floors, this can be their firefighter.
Like previous jobs owned by humans but are now using drones, firefighting is dangerous work. Every case, trained firefighters risk their lives to fight blazing infernos and rescue trapped civilians. With this drone not only does it cut travel time to higher floors, it also makes sure firefighters don’t get injured. A drone that can soar through the skies in rapid fashion can get to affected areas faster than human firefighters taking the stairs. A drone can maneuver through smaller spaces, unlike fire helicopters.
Like its turbine cleaning cousin, the firefighter drone by Aerones has water jets and a line that connects it to a water source below. This means uninterrupted water barrage to burning areas, leaving little room for the flames to get out of control.
At the end of the day, this drone not only saves the lives of civilians trapped in burning buildings. The drone also saves firefighters from going in blind inside burning buildings. It also saves time and since it is launched from the outside, lessens the risk for responders altogether.
