A Postcard from Istanbul is the striking five minute long cinematic film commissioned by the luxury hotel line St Regis from Emmy award winner John Malkovich. John Malkovich’s love for this striking city is very clear from the start. Offering sweeping views shot at night and dawn across the city’s most iconic and beautiful landscapes. This trailer just hints at some of the beauty and history of Istanbul. It allows us mere glimpses at the captivating and charming world that Istanbul has to offer.
Whereas the full five minutes takes us on a whirl wind tour through its stunning landscape, history and people which seep through the screen showing the jewels of the city. As John says “Being in Istanbul is like being in a dream cloaked in dazzling colours, intriguing sounds and a cornucopia of flavours. Together with St. Regis, I hope to bring to screen the allure and richness that this remarkable destination has to offer.”

While not the first time actors have been used to advertise a product this is by far the most original. What an amazing way to advertise yourself and your hotel than by leaving a lasting impression of all it has to offer.
