Looks like a little bit of everyone is trying to shake Micro$oft’s tree. Sun is planning to unleash a set of desktop and entry-level server products based on their Linux and Solaris distros (and yes even SOME Windows supported apps) to try and loosen M$’s grip on the world. Red Hat has also announced it’s going to start targeting the desktop market as well. Looks like easy to use versions of Linux could be coming soon (along with the Lycoris Desktop/LX).
