But as I explained in my review of their site, just be aware that the website is absolutely hideous and hasn’t been updated since the early 2000s. But don’t let that stop you! They’ve got a great selection of software, all available for free.
Their Top Freeware Picks list is a great starting place, but don’t forget to browse the left sidebar for all kinds of excellent programs. And if you’re unsure what you’re looking for, search! You’re sure to find something useful.
FileHippo
FileHippo sure is a swell site! It’s got oodles of programs neatly categorized for easy downloadin’. And if you’re not into desktoppin’ software, no sweat! They’ve also got a whole mess of web apps.
