The Tile Slim is the perfect size to fit into your wallet compared to the previous square-shaped Slim. It is quite thick but I think most people will forget they are carrying it. The Tile Slim has a range of 200 feet and you can locate via the app on your smartphone. For someone who has a high traffic place, too many things and kids who constantly play with my things, it’s the perfect gadget to have when I can’t find my wallet. This tracker has irremovable batteries, however, so will not last you a lifetime but according to the company, the batteries will last you 3 years.
The Tile Sticker can be attached to basically anything and has a 150-foot range. The sticker has a very adhesive underside, however, if you are moving the sticker from one thing to another, the sticker will lose its adhesiveness. Tile is planning to sell replacement adhesive strips on their websites to solve this problem. The Tile Sticker will work very well for those household items you keep misplacing, like the TV remote. The Tile Sticker also has irremovable batteries but will last up to 3 years.
Both products are IPX7 water resistant, meaning they can go fully under water for 30 minutes. Both the Slim and the Sticker are 99.9% recyclable via e-waste recycling facilities, so you don’t have to worry about it ending up in a landfill.
