Do your team have everything they need to complete their jobs to the standard that you expect? If not, it’s time to ask them what would help them. Now, a super expensive, really comfortable computer chair might look nice, but in the grand scheme of things it’s unlikely to make much of a difference. You’re better off looking at equipment and things in the workplace that directly impact their quality of work. Maybe you simply need to get some heavy duty casters so they can move things around more easily. Maybe they need better machinery, or some software. Whatever it is, invest in it. Investing in things like this is investing in your business and will help you to grow.
You’re Not Listening To Them
It doesn’t matter if you have an open door policy if you’re not listening to your team. Your staff are the most important group of people next to your customers, and if they are unhappy, it’s probable that your customers will be unhappy too. Make sure you listen to your team and make changes to make them happier. You want to go above and beyond for them, like you would your customers.

If the office or work environment is unhealthy or uninspiring, you’ll run into problems. It should be clean and tidy (the job of a professional cleaner, not your staff), and it should look nice. People have to work in there for a large portion of their day, so make it a great place to be.
