Bookmarks are used to keep your place in a book and to enable you to return to it with ease. They are made of a variety of materials and come in large number of designs and styles. Many are made of cardboard or heavy paper, ribbon, fabric, beads, plastic, vinyl, precious metals. I have even used a peacock feather as a bookmark.
Recently I came across another innovative gadget that can be used as a bookmark. It is made from a special film and conductive ink that works as a bookmark and a small nightlight with a lithium coin battery (sold separately).
It transforms into an under-the-blanket light when you place the battery on the circles and fold it over. When you are done reading, unfold it and it is your standard bookmark. The Bookmark light will cost you around US$17.
