Our favorite season, summer, is right around the corner and hopefully that means you get some time off work to relax and get out to enjoy the warm weather. Some people know how to relax better than others and the creators of the Hammocraft have the right idea. This Hammock Boat can accommodate up to four hammocks so you can either relax on calm waters on your own or have up to three other people join you.
This Hammock Boat uses the same materials that are used on whitewater raft frames, reconfigured to mount to your favorite device, and strong enough to string up up to four hammocks. The creators of the Hammocraft reside in Jackson, Wyoming and make the craft available in either a fully functional and easily assembled frame kit or an individual frame, hammock, and components for you to mount on an existing boat or flotation device.
How Not To Use The Hammocraft
The Hammocrafts are designed to fit over rafts, stand up paddleboards, duckies, and even a drift boats. Once fully built, it is recommended that you use the craft on lakes, slow moving rivers, and calm waters in general. You can contact the Hammocraft company to discuss options for configuration and kits as well as prices. A ready-to-assemble kit will cost approximately $1,000. You will have to provide your own hammocks though and the price only includes the kit. Assembling the frame should take you no longer than 10 minutes and folds down easily to fit into a ski bag.
