How many times have you taken a picture of a picture or a document to refer to it at a later time? I’m certain everyone with a smartphone has done so on many occasions. If not, then it’s probably becasue you already have the product I’m about to refer to. The Dacuda PocketScan is an extremely compact handheld scanner which can be useful for many situations. This is definitely something I would use frequently enough to warrant a purchase of this device.
The Dacuda Wireless Scanner can be used to scan old family photographs, important documents, text from books, receipts, or even maps. The Dacuda connects to your smart device via Bluetooth making it very convenient. Just becasue the device is small doesn’t mean that the text/images being scanned have to be. The Dacuda works great on all sized images from a tiny portion of a page to large-scale books. And when you happen to scan a text document, you can easily edit the documents in an Excel spreadsheet or Word document. And yes, you can even translate the text. Next time you go to a restaurant with a menu in a different language, this could be quite a useful tool especially if you have food allergies.
To use the Dacuda, you simply swipe the hand-held scanner over the text or image and it will send a high-res image to your smart device via Bluetooth. The perfect way to hang on to memories in the digital world we live in. The results are also a lot better than if you were to simply take an image with your phone thanks to its built-in illumination. Even if the image/text is not completely flat, it will get scanned perfectly. You can even scan in low light conditions as it has its own light source. Pretty cool, right? This should also make all those who are anti-paper pretty happy.
The Dacuda PocketScan is available in either black or white and can be purchased on Amazon for just $115.
