An enormous amount of thermal energy is wasted during every day cooking and heating. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could convert some of it for some useful purpose. The KettleCharge uses the concept of the well-known thermoelectric effect which is the direct conversion of temperature differences to electric voltage. A thermoelectric device creates voltage when there is a different temperature on each side. This effect is used by KettleCharge to generate enough electricity that can charge your devices. At 10 watts, it will charge any USB device as fast as a wall outlet.
