I’m not a huge fan of house chores but if I must pick a few that I don’t mind doing then washing dishes, scrubbing the counter tops, and vacuuming are ones I have no issues with. Laundry, putting things away, and scrubbing the bathroom are usually things I avoid at all costs. Out of the lot, vacuuming is probably one that I “enjoy” the most. Now I’ve used all types of vacuums and I love the feeling of cleaning an area and seeing the dust and fluff collect that the naked eye can’t even see.
With the introduction of so many automated vacuums, looks like my favorite house chore is about to walk out the door. There are many brands to choose from but if I must pick one then the automatic vacuum cleaner from Neato Robotics is probably my weapon of choice to fight dirt and dust. When you think automated vacuums, the Roomba brand is what usually comes to mind. But once you know Roomba’s price, the idea of owning one exits the mind just as quickly. That’s why the products from Neoto Robotics seem a lot more attractive to me as they perform just as well as any other brand on the market yet your wallet will be intact.
When we say automated, we really mean it. The product features patented laser-guided technology (Neato BotVision) which scans and maps the room, plans, and methodically cleans the area rather than bumping around all over the rooms. Neato Robotic’s vacuums also have no issues with moving from room to room and automatically adjusting from carpeted floors to hardwood or vinyl flooring.
The larger cleaning brush allows the device to pick up more dirt than other automated vacuum cleaners and it features a bigger filter and dirt bin for a superior clean. You can also schedule daily cleanings if you wish or simply push a button for instant multi-room cleaning.
What I really love about the device is that should the battery run low, the vacuum will automatically go back to its charge station when it needs more battery juice. Once charged, it automatically returns where it left off to finish the cleaning.
If there are certain areas of the home that you don’t want the vacuum snooping around in, the boundary markers keep the gadget where you want it and away from places you don’t. It comes with 14 feet of magnet strip which you place in areas where you don’t want the vacuum going. The Neato automated vacuums also get smarter with time and by that I’m referring to software downloads as new features get added.
