In a few months time it will be the season of barbecues and outdoor cookouts. That’s great and all but what about the all the gunk and grime left on the grill after cooking up those delicious steaks and burgers? Sure, you could grab the brush and scrub away at the grill or you could get a robotic helper to take care of it for you.
This is where the Grillbot comes into play and will take care of leaving the grill spotless. The Grillbot is a single button operate device that will perch on your grill and automatically clean the grilling surface whether it’s hot or cold. The Grillbot doesn’t care if your grill is gas operated or charcoal.
The Grillbot took two years to develop and will be ready for purchase this summer. The device features push button operation and is powered by three electric motors with three replaceable brushes. The basic model of the Grillbot will be available for $69.95 and will feature an alarm system which will tell you when the grill has been cleaned. This basic model requires 6 D-Cell batteries which have to be purchased separately. The Premium Grillbot has a price point of $99.95 and has extra features which include a built-in LCD alarm/timer and a rechargeable battery with an AC adaptor. Both the basic model and the Premium Grillbot has a smart CPU which regulates the direction and speed of the robot.
The Grillbot can be pre-ordered and will be available for sale in June 2013.
